Leeds has been listed as an “area of concern” because infection rates are increasing rapidly and new government regulations enforceable by the police will come into effect on 14 September. Under these new rules individuals can be fined £100 for a first offence and fines double for every subsequent incident.

Bars that do not enforce the rules could already be fined £10000 and closed by the Council and, sadly, it is already proving difficult for Eszter and her staff to keep everyone safe because of lack of co-operation by some members. To enable the club to stay open and welcome everyone, therefore, please remember:

 The online booking system at must be used before visiting the bar; teams must arrive and leave on time; and time slots will be limited to 2 hours at maximum
 Sanitise your hands on entering the bar; abide by the one-way systems; the wearing of face coverings is optional
 Furniture must not be moved as this breaches social distancing rules
 Opposition teams must drink outside and may not enter the bar
 Bring your membership card; order drinks by phone; pay by contactless or credit or debit cards wherever possible; when inside remain seated at all times; dispose of your litter in the bins; if you return glasses to the bar please leave them at the glasses collection station
 Toilets are available for up to two people at any one time
 Keep your voices down when watching live sport in the bar
 Stay at home if you are feeling ill
